I have written many pieces about wonderful experiences.
It is the surprise and contrast
that illuminates the wonder
like the Sun bursting out beneath a stormy sky.
If these states of consciousness become
continuous, I probably won't have much to say about them...

This is so true.
Misery within a miserable life is bearable
but misery after the wonder is misery indeed.
It absolutely rubs it in.
