Science
It is often held (by scientists) that for spirituality to be valid it should be a science and fulfil scientific
criteria.
I disagree, it is essentially about happiness
and should therefore be viewed as an Art.
Science can offer freedom from physical hardship but this
is a long way from happiness. Through spiritual practice
one can become an instrument for beautiful music
which all can enjoy. This conclusion comes from the
many experiences I have had this year, which are
quite problematic from the scientific point of view,
but as Art - no problem at all.

yep, different domains, different purposes.

science (since the 1500's) has been about the manipulation and control of nature

spirituality is about UNDERSTANDING the purpose of nature.

both apply to the “out there world” but the INTENT is vastly different.

hence the different results.
